Sharing the Gift of Joy – Our Christmas Action 2024
13.12.2024 – During Christmas time, our ATAMYA | eggheads team has called into life two very peculiar actions to bring joy to children and teenagers in need. For two days, we gathered a total of 120 presents and diligently wrapped – wrapped presents which are now waiting to spark joy in the eyes of children and teenagers alike during Christmas time.
Our Christmas Action
This year, 25 Christmas gift lists by children and teenagers from Children’s Home Herne (E. V. Kinderheims Jugendhilfe Herne & Wanne-Eickel GmbH) decorated the Christmas tree of ATAMYA | eggheads. In the beginning of November, they did handicraft work and created their gift lists; soon after, our team turned into hardworking wish granters. The presents were wrapped with love and delivered in time for Christmas celebration – a special moment that brought a little joy to the children and teenagers.

The “Christmas Joy in Shoe Boxes” action of ATAMYA | eggheads for the charity organization Bochum and Wattenscheid (Caritasverband für Bochum und Wattenscheid e. V.) was our second action event and a project close to everybody’s heart! In total, 95 lovingly-packed shoe boxes full of presents for children and teenagers in need turned this Christmas into a special one. The shoe boxes where filled with all sorts of things that every children’s heart wishes for – from small toys to writing and handiwork materials as well as other pleasant surprises that are sure to put a smile on any child’s or teenager’s face. The presents have already been handed over to Caritas and will soon be distributed within the organization and a refugee home in Bochum.
