An article is a sellable unit and describes a unique variant of a product – for example, a specific height, color, or packaging. In a PIM system, every article is registered with its individual attribute values, identifiers (e.g., SKU), and media information. Precise management on the article level is essential for the assortment structure, searchability and filterability, as well as channel-overarching exports.
