Product Data in a Multitude of Languages

Data over data – and all relating to the very same product range. Isolated solutions and redundant nformation represent significant overheads for companies. Automated processes are the “sine qua non” in today’s fast-changing business world, with its resulting requirements for efficient customer service. The deployment of a Product Information Management System, which provides centrally maintained and processed data, is one of many measures for Managing the challenges which companies face.

In this way, resources such as time and cost can be minimized, and business processes can be optimized accordingly. In particular, large companies must have the possibility of accessing product information uniformly at all their locations, in the required Quality and, ideally, oriented to the requirements of the potential customer.

SAKRET Trockenbaustoffe Europa GmbH & Co. KG is well aware of this challenge. As one of the largest manufacturers of dry building materials, SAKRET is known internationally, and counts as the inventor brand for dry mortar. Within Germany, five companies make up the German group. These are SAKRET Bausysteme GmbH & Co. KG, SAKRET GmbH, SAKRET Trockenbeton München GmbH & Co. KG, SAKRET Kalkwerk Rygol GmbH & Co. KG, and SAKRET Trockenbaustoffe Sachsen GmbH & Co. KG. SAKRET Europa is represented worldwide, with more than 25 supply plants in many European countries, as well as Israel and Russia.

 

 

The product range covers approximately 3,000 variants of 500 products. In Addition to the large product range, SAKRET provides its customers with extensive services – from masonry analyses, to specialist consultancy, U-value calculations, colour concepts, and training sessions in its own training centre. In Europe, there are 13 independent SAKRET companies. At each of these companies, similar as well as completely different products are maintained and distributed at the respective location in ranges and supply programmes which differ from company to company.
