Top Quality Requires Innovation

Grünbeck Wasseraufbereitung GmbH is headquartered in Germany, Höchstädt on the Danube and a market leader in the water treatment industry. Ever since its year of Establishment in 1949, the company has been continuously developing innovative solutions and employing state-of-the-art technologies in order to guarantee the highest water quality. With around 700 employees as well as both representatives and branches in several European and Non-European countries, Grünbeck is one of today’s global players renowned for its pioneering spirit and innovation prowess.

In 2021, Grünbeck made the decision to implement ATAMYA Enterprise (formerly eggheads Suite) as their Product Information Management system of choice. The company faced various challenges such as decentralized and redundant data Management together with resource-heavy and manual maintenance of product datasheets, catalogs, and their homepage.

Additionally, a major objective was to improve master and product data in the context of data quality standards and directives for the PHAC industries (plumbing, heating, and air conditioning) and BIM (Building Information Modeling). The implementation of ATAMYA alone was already sufficient for solving some of these challenges successfully and for optimizing related processes.

Central Hub for All Product Data in ATAMYA Portal

In the past, Grünbeck, too, saw itself confronted with the classic problem that product data was dispersed all over the company and that this data couldn’t be managed centrally without a PIM system. Even though some of this data could be managed in the ERP, one thing was clear: a PIM like the system
developed by ATAMYA is much better suited for this job.
The PIM Portal has enabled Grünbeck to manage product data centrally and make it accessible to all employees.

The feedback of the entire company was positive across the board since, now, uncomplicated access to all data could be provided via this central database – resulting in benefits for the whole company. The sales team and new employees of Gründbeck, in particular, value the advantage of being able
to look up relevant product data in a quick and easy manner.

Protrait von Nicolas Pelzel von Grünbeck
„Thanks to the PIM Portal, the project became accessible to the whole company and those who didn’t have a chance to do so before could convince themselves of the use of a central database firsthand. The implementation of the PIM Portal has come with benefits we couldn’t enjoy before.“

Generation of Product Datasheets Easily Automated

Another area in which ATAMYA is put into good use is the creation of templates for product datasheets. In the past, this was tied to enormous efforts and was very timeconsuming because they contain extensive information about products – from descriptions, through functionality and structure of the products, to tables containing technical specifications …
