Managing and structuring product data used to be a big challenge as far as the digital requirements of Baier & Schneider were concerned. In 2021, the company made a decisive step towards the digital future: the implementation of the solution made by ATAMYA as the new Product Information Management system (PIM) marked the beginning of an exciting digital Transformation of more than 18,000 products. A system was needed that does not only handle the extensive product assortments and complex ERP data but also the smooth information transfer to crucial data partners. Additionally, the integration of a Translation Memory System (TMS) was required in order to automatically translate product data into multiple languages.
