From Data-Onboarding to Distribution with the Connector between ATAMYA and CatalogExpress
April 16th, 2025 – With the new connector between CatalogExpress, the platform for feed management and data distribution, and ATAMYA Product Cloud, the cloud-native solution for Product Information Management (PIM), companies create the foundation for an automated product data flow: from data on-boarding all the way up to the channel-specific distribution into all relevant target channels and file formats.
All product information is managed centrally in ATAMYA. On the other hand, CatalogExpress takes care of two central tasks: Firstly, the connector enables the data on-boarding from external data sources such as supplier catalogs, other organizations, and ERP systems. This data is initially imported into CatalogExpress, where it is transformed, validated, and enriched – before they are transferred over to the ATAMYA PIM system in a well-structured form.
Secondly, CatalogExpress controls the targeted data distribution of product information to marketplaces such as Amazon, e-procurement platforms, online shops, major retailers, and internal systems. To this end, CatalogExpress functions as the bi-directional interface. Product data can be exported automatically from ATAMYA and, at the same time, external information such as orders or supply counts flow back into the PIM system in real time. All in all, this establishes a continuous flow of data with high quality that is always up to date.
